Just a little about me

So this was the home of my art blog for a bit. But since my hand is acting up with numbness and pain for now, that is sort of on hold for a bit. Still something I do but its hard and not as often. So no point having 2 blogs. So I am merging back here under my preferred name.

I had just started running a new health blog again. Just. And just starting to get into the swing of it again. Anyway, lets get it merged. And so as to get that all sorted here is a bio for my entire audience. Just a reminder. And also what has been up.

  • I’m 47
  • I live with my common-law spouse of 27 years or so
  • I have two cats (Charlie and Mister)
  • I live in Alberta, Canada
  • I’m on permanent disability from work and CPPD.
  • I was diagnosed with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome when I was 16
  • I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when I was 20
  • I was diagnosed with Chronic Migraine Disease when I was 20
  • I was diagnosed with clinical depression in my 30’s.
  • In my 30’s I was diagnosed with asthma and hypothyroidism.
  • I had chronic vertigo and balance issues in my mid 40’s
  • And I was recently diagnosed with MS in July of 2024

My cats

Mister (5) and Charlie (15). Mister is a recent rescue. The reason the shot of him is at a distance is because he is very skittish and scared of people. We are slowly getting him used to people. And he recently accepted Pets. So progress.

  • My career used to be a banker
  • I have my M.A. in Philosophy. It was around this time when I had problems with pain so I didn’t continue to the PhD. program. Not that work was better.
  • I’m introverted. INFJ
  • My hobbies are reading, writing, and art.

It has been a rough couple of years for various reasons but definitely with the onset of MS on top of everything else has left me floundering a bit. I have some extreme fatigue lately and that is pretty hard to function through. Not to mention the problems with my right hand. I also have drop foot on the right side.

    1. Thanks! Super easy to dye when my hair is 80% grey as well, holds the color quite well. It’s faded at the moment but I’ll get to it- purple next.
