Humor: That’s a Fibro Flare

You know its a flare when:

  1. You go hiking and the very word ‘hiking’ will inform you that will be a Flare.
  2. You did your Christmas shopping, not online, all in one day. That’s a Flare.
  3. You looked at the weather the wrong way. It looked back. That’s a Flare.
  4. You slept in. By a few hours. By a few minutes. Maybe even seconds. That’s a Flare.
  5. You forgot to sleep altogether. That’s totally a Flare.
  6. You went to an actual movie theatre to watch an actual movie instead of streaming, but could then not change positions for 3 damn hours. That’s a Flare.
  7. You have a dream you are hit by a truck and wake up feeling like you were hit by a truck. Coincidence? Yes. But this is the ‘WTH I just woke up and didn’t do anything’ Flare. The Sleepy Wrongy Flare.
  8. You did just the right about of something but some other random condition changed like Mercury went into Retrograde that you have no way to account for since you Were PACING! That’s a mysterious Flare.
  9. You did too little. That’s a Flare.
  10. You clearly did too much. That’s also a Flare.
  11. You felt great and did Way too much. That’s an over the limit and damn that sucks Flare.
  12. You got stressed. Flare!
  13. Emotional? Flare!
  14. And finally, the Flare that leads to a Flare Flare.

Flare Triggers

  1. You do too little. You do too much. You never quite do just right. Triggers a flare.
  2. You exercised for one second.
  3. It was a little too weathery out. It was too cold out. Or too hot. Honestly any climate change is an issue. Since any weather change is a problem I personally want to move to a location with no weather at all. Some sort of planet with absolutely no atmosphere maybe. Or one season.
  4. You got regular sick. A normal cold or flu and our bodies decided top that up.
  5. Too much sleep. Not enough sleep. Just sleep just right. Just the perfect sleep zone. The Goldilocks zone of sleep. Without tossing and turning because pain compromises your sleep.
  6. Doing something highly unusual like going on vacation and having your body completely rebelling against all that fun business
  7. Everything was too Much-ly. Too loud. Too smelly. Too bright. Our bodies reject the muchness of reality sometimes.
